Henry Aranha's quaint home offers just the right balance of rustic with comfort. A no-fuss place, The Hidden Valley is clean, warm and very friendly.

We were made very welcome by the owner and his dashing son while the property manager Suraj and his obliging staff looked into all the other details...working up a storm in the country kitchen. Nothing like hot puris on a cold morning! Giving us a taste of the local flavour & show-casing the local musicians was an interesting value-add and a nice move towards building an inclusive environment. What we loved best however was our personal conversations with the turkeys! ...The clean, unspoiled air and the wonderful walk through the coffee estate learning the nuances of berry picking. Top that with the thoughtfulness of the owner -- The Christmas Cake - what a lovely start to the festive season!

All in all a fabulous getaway. Thanks for giving us 'family time' that was so, so special - a magic memory.

Organic food is known to contain 50% more nutrients, minerals and vitamins than produce that has been intensively farmed.
People strive to find restaurants and hotels that provide delicious and healthy food. At The Hidden Valley, we focus on preparing low-fat dishes that are delicious and easily prepared.

Fresh milk is brought in everyday from the nearby farms. Organic milk, rich in calcium, is a natural, whole food beverage and the best choice for kids and families.
 
Farm fresh eggs are a tasty addition to your breakfast every morning. These eggs are packed with essential vitamins, minerals and proteins. Our hens are fed organic grain free from antibiotics, medications, pesticides and herbicides.

 It is our sincere effort to make The Hidden Valley green and organic. Here are a few steps taken in this direction.

- Garden fresh vegetables and fruits are used, which are grown at The Hidden Valley

- We avoid deep-frying food unless specifically asked for

- There is minimum usage of oil in our cooking and we use of good quality sunflower/olive oil

- Meat and fish, are obtained from known sources who ensure hygienic breeding

- The Hidden Valley is built with available resources like wood and other eco friendly material

- We recycle and compost where possible

- We use energy efficient equipent using local available fuel

- There is great focus on water conservation

- Our cleaning products and practices are environment friendly
